This campaign reminds the visitor of products that they viewed during their session, by ranking them not only based on recency but also on interest signals (number of visit times, times spent on each product page, etc.) to predict which products they are more likely to purchase.

Frequently Bought Together

Based on the product(s) added to the cart by the visitor, this algorithm suggests products that have been frequently bought together in the same cart by other visitors.

How to create a product recommendation Popup or Embed

  • Recommended: You can use templates that have been created especially for Product Recommendations campaigns. We made sure to configure the templates targeting so that they are compatible with the targeting requirements.

  • If you want to start from scratch, Product Recommendations are available as a block in the popup editor and can be integrated into any of your campaigns.

  • Make sure that you use targeting options in Display Rules that are compatible with the product recommendation strategy. If the campaign is supposed to appear while no product recommendation is available, then the campaign will not display at all.

How our AI works

Except Best Sellers, our algorithms utilize collaborative item filtering that matches the visitor with other past similar visitor journeys. In the future, we will add other types of algorithms that consider product characteristics. For now our algorithms utilize the following signals:

  • Engagement signals

    • Add to carts

    • Past purchases

    • Number of repeat visits to product pages

    • Interaction depth (clicks, scrolls, etc.)

    • Recency of visits

  • Product signals

    • Historical revenue performance

    • Stock levels

    • Product freshness

Our algorithm continuously learns and adjusts recommendations based on these signals, ensuring visitors see products they're most likely to purchase.

Popups/embeds not displaying if not enough product recommendations are available

The way our algorithm currently works is that it returns the 10 best product recommendations based on your selected recommendation strategy, and exclusion/inclusion rules. Then, it will exclude products which are out of stock. The popup/embed will then only display if there are enough product recommendations available to populate your campaign based on your configured number of product recommendations to display.

Revenue tracking

We use strict attribution to measure real impact:

  • Revenue is only attributed when customers purchase products they've clicked in the wishlist

  • Attribution window matches your account settings

  • Detailed analytics show engagement and conversion metrics
