Sync your leads with Sendlane

Synchronize your Wisepops campaigns with your Sendlane account to seamlessly manage the contacts you've gathered. This guide will walk you through the steps to integrate Wisepops with Sendlane, allowing you to automatically send new emails to Sendlane.

Steps to connect Wisepops with Sendlane

  1. Log in to your Sendlane account

  2. Go to Settings > API

  3. In the section for API V2, add a new API token

  4. Provide a name for the new token. (For example "Wisepops")

  5. Copy and keep the token. The token will not be visible again after clicking done. Do not skip this step.

  6. Log in to your Wisepops account

  7. Open or create a popup with a sign-up form

  8. In the editor, click on the sign-up form

  9. In the left menu, click "Sync"

  10. Click the Sendlane icon

  11. Enter the API token you copied at step 5 and click submit.

  12. You're done! :)

Selecting a list

You can select the list you want your leads to be sent to on the "Sync" tab after clicking on your sign-up form.

Custom fields

You can use custom fields of your Sendlane account in your campaigns. Refer to this Sendlane support page to learn more about custom fields.

  1. Add a field to your signup form

  2. Make sure you fill the Placeholder and ID fields

  3. Select Merge field

  4. A dropdown menu will appear and you will be able to select the custom field you wish to connect the form field to.

Troubleshooting

Why are my leads not showing on Sendlane ?

Sendlane has double opt-in enabled by default for all contacts sent to your account. This means that your leads will receive an email by Sendlane to confirm their subscription to your list. Until the lead confirms the subscription via the double opt-in, they will not appear on your Sendlane account.

Contact Sendlane directly for more information on how this process works and to disable it if necessary.

Why are my leads with phone numbers not showing on Sendlane ?

Please contact Sendlane directly to enable SMS capabilities on your account.

If SMS capabilities are not enabled, contacts with phone numbers will not appear on your Sendlane account.

You can recover lost leads by requesting an export of your data.
