Custom event subscribed_via_wisepops
When Wisepops syncs a lead to Braze, it emits a custom event subscribed_via_wisepops
. This allows you to trigger campaigns and create segments about Wisepops activity.
How fields are mapped
The following fields are mapped automatically to Braze fields:
Email
Phone
First name
Last name
For the other fields, you can set the mappings in the Wisepops builder. Both Braze standard fields and your own custom attributes are supported.
Global email subscription state
By default, new users in Braze are considered subscribed. You can change this state for Wisepops subscribers (for both existing and new Braze users). To do so, create a hidden field in Wisepops, and map it to the Braze field Email subscribe. The accepted values are:
opted_in
subscribed
unsubscribed
Subscription groups
Wisepops also lets you subscribe your leads to Braze subscription groups. You can create a hidden field in your form to enforce subscription groups. The value must be the group ID (or comma separated IDs).
You can also let the visitor choose which group to subscribe to. Create a checkbox field, where the values are the subscription group IDs.
To find the subscription group IDs, go to your Braze dashboard, and navigate to Audience > Subscriptions.
