Embed campaigns integrate directly into your website's layout to engage visitors without disrupting their experience. They're perfect for growing your email list, promoting offers, and personalizing your website.

Benefits of Embed Campaigns

  • Seamless integration with your existing website design

  • Higher conversion rates compared to traditional popups

  • Enhanced user experience through non-intrusive messaging

  • Complete customization to match your brand identity

Creating Your First Embed Campaign

Step 1: Create an Embed Campaign

  1. Navigate to your Wisepops dashboard

  2. Select Embeds in the Campaigns menu

  3. Click on "New embed campaign" to open the template gallery

Step 2: Customize Your Embed

After picking a template that suits you, personalize your embed using the campaign builder:

  • Edit headlines and paragraph text

  • Customize button text and appearance

  • Configure button redirect settings

Your embed can be as simple or detailed as your campaign requires.

Step 3: Position Your Embed

Positioning is handled through CSS selectors, which identify where the embed will appear on your page:

  1. Go to the webpage where you want to place your embed

  2. Right-click at your desired location and select 'Inspect'

  3. In the developer tools, hover over elements until you find a suitable container

  4. Right-click on the element and select 'Copy' → 'Copy selector'

Example: To place an embed on the Xbox Series X page between the Microsoft header and the Xbox menu, you would use the selector #TopContentBlockList_3 > div > div.

  5. Paste this selector in the Wisepops campaign builder

  6. Use the dropdown menu to specify the embed's position within the container

Best Practice: Choose a container with an 'id' parameter when possible. These selectors (prefixed with #) are more stable than hierarchy-dependent selectors, which may break if you update your website theme.
