Team templates let you build your own reusable popup, bar, and embed designs and share them across your whole workspace. Instead of starting from a generic Wisepops template every time, your team always begins from your own on-brand designs. You can also hide Wisepops' built-in templates entirely so your team only sees yours.
This feature needs to be enabled for your workspace first. Contact your CSM or support@wisepops.com to get it set up.
How it works
Once enabled, a Team templates website appears in your website switcher. This is a dedicated space for designing and publishing templates. Campaigns built here can never go live, it exists only to author templates.
Owners and admins have access to it by default. Admins can also give editors access, the same way they'd share any other website.
Publish a design as a team template
Open the Team templates website from your website switcher.
Create a new campaign and design it the way you want.
When it's ready, click Publish as team template instead of the usual Publish button.
The template immediately appears for everyone in the workspace, on every site, under a Team templates category in the campaign gallery.
To update a template, go back to the Team templates website, edit the design, and publish again. The update applies to the shared template automatically.
To remove a template, switch it back to Draft first, then delete or archive it.
Use a team template
When creating a new campaign, open the gallery and look for the Team templates category. Picking a template copies it into a new, regular campaign. You can then edit it freely without affecting the original template. It is also not affected by any future edits to the original template.
Hide Wisepops' built-in templates
By default, your team sees both the built-in Wisepops templates and your team templates side by side. If you'd prefer your team to only see your own templates, contact your CSM or support@wisepops.com and we can disable the built-in ones for your workspace.
