Not all notifications deserve the same level of visibility in your feed. By default, they are ranked according to their last publishing date, with the most recently published notifications at the top. This can be an issue if an important notification does not make it above the fold inside the feed.
You can now specify three levels of priority for how notifications will be displayed inside the feed.
Notifications with "Order 1" will be ranked higher than "Order 2" which will be ranked higher than "Order 3", which will be ranked higher than all notifications with "Default Order"
There can be only one notification assigned per order rank, except for "Default order" which will be assigned to all notifications by default. If you assign a notification to "Order 1", it will downgrade any previous "Order 1" notification to "Order 2"
Notifications with "Default order" will be ranked by publishing recency among themselves.
In the dashboard, notifications are ranked by last update date - therefore the dashboard ranking does not necessary reflect the visitor-facing ranking in the feed.
