Adding a Countdown Timer

This help document guides you through the process of adding a countdown timer to your Wisepops campaign, which can create a sense of urgency and encourage visitors to take action.

Step 1: Create or Edit a Wisepops Campaign

  • Log in to your Wisepops account.
  • If you're creating a new campaign, click on "New campaign" and select a template or start from scratch. If you're editing an existing campaign, go to your dashboard, find the campaign you want to edit, and click on the "Edit" button.

Step 2: Add the Countdown Timer Block

  • In the Wisepops builder, click on the Blocks tab located on the left-hand side panel.
  • Scroll through the available blocks until you find the "Countdown" block.
  • To add the "Countdown" block to your campaign, simply click or drag and drop it.

Step 3: Customize the Countdown Timer

  • Click on the countdown timer block within your campaign to reveal customization options in the left-hand side panel.
  • Set the countdown type (relative or fixed date), end date and time, timezone and expiration for your countdown
  • Navigate to the Style tab and choose the format for the countdown timer (e.g., days, hours, minutes, and seconds) using the toggles.
  • Customize the appearance of the countdown timer, such as font, colors, size, and background, using the available options in the side panel.

Step 4: Save and Publish Your Campaign

  • Once you're satisfied with the appearance and placement of the countdown timer, click on the "Save" button in the upper-right corner of the builder.
  • Publish your campaign!

Now, your Wisepops campaign will display a countdown timer, creating a sense of urgency for your visitors and potentially increasing conversions. Remember to monitor your campaign's performance and make any necessary adjustments to optimize its effectiveness.
