How to create an NPS survey popup

Lisa Fockens Updated by Lisa Fockens

Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys are a powerful tool for gauging customer loyalty and collecting real-time feedback. Here's how you can create one using Wisepops:

Step 1: Log In or Sign Up

Log into your Wisepops account. If you don't have an account, visit Wisepops to register.

Step 2: Create a New Campaign

Once logged in, click on 'Create a new campaign' on your dashboard.

  • From the dropdown menu, choose the 'Campaign Assistant' option.
  • For your campaign goal, select 'Collect Feedback'
  • Choose 'NPS' from the options that appear.
  • Pick a template that suits your needs.

Step 3: Design Your NPS Survey

Design your survey by asking the question, "How likely are you to recommend us?" This is the standard NPS query. Customize the design of your popup to match your brand aesthetics.

Step 4: Set Display Settings

Decide when and where the popup should appear on your website. You can set triggers based on user behavior, time spent on page, or specific page visits.

Step 5: Sync Ratings with 3rd party tools

If you want to associate the survey with an email, sync the ratings with your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Email Service Provider (ESP).

  • Click on your survey from the builder and go to the 'Sync' tab.
  • Choose an integration from the options available.
  • In the 'Field' tab, synchronize the relevant fields with a destination field in your third-party integration using the 'Merge With' field..
If you already have the respondent's email, pass this data through custom properties to Wisepops. You can then use these custom properties in hidden fields within your survey.
  • Optional: Connect with other third-party tools like Google Sheets or Slack via Zapier for efficient data management and analysis

Step 6: Publish Your Survey

Once you're done setting up, hit 'Publish'. Your NPS survey popup is now live!

Remember, the key to a successful NPS survey is to continuously monitor results, analyze feedback, and make improvements based on customer responses. Happy surveying!
