Sync your leads with Brevo

Thanks to the Wisepops & Brevo integration, you can synchronize the leads collected by Wisepops as Brevo Contacts. Brevo was formerly named Sendinblue.

Connect your Brevo account

Follow these steps to start sending your new leads to Brevo:

  1. Log in to your Brevo account.

  2. In the upper right menu, select SMTP & API.

  3. Open the API Keys tab, and click Generate a new API key.

  4. Name your key "Wisepops", then copy the newly generated key.

  5. Log in to your Wisepops account.

  6. Open or create a popup with a sign-up form.

  7. Click your sign-up form.

  8. In the left menu, click Sync, then Brevo.


  9. In the new opened tab, paste your Brevo API key, and click Submit.


  10. Once back to the campaign builder, select your Brevo destination list.

And voilà! Your new leads collected by Wisepops are synced with Brevo in seconds.

Enable the Double Opt-In

The Brevo's Double Opt-In can improve your email deliverability as well as the quality of your contact list for better overall email marketing. It involves sending a confirmation email to the email address collected by Wisepops in order to validate the contact information before adding it to the list.

Follow these steps to enable Double Opt-In for the Wisepops & Brevo integration:

  1. In Brevo, go to Campaigns > Templates.

  2. Choose a Double Opt-In template, or create a new one. If creating a new Double Opt-In template, ensure that it meets the requirements to be used as a Double Opt-In template:

    1. It must have the optin tag,

    2. And contains the confirmation link, with the placeholder {{ doubleoptin }} or {{ params.DOIurl }}.

  3. Copy the template ID. It is the number you can see in the Brevo URL when editing the template. In the following example, the template ID is 2.

  4. Back in the SYNC section of your Wisepops form, enable the double opt-in, paste the Brevo template ID, and provide a redirection URL. This is the URL where the subscriber should be redirected after confirming their subscription.

Troubleshooting

Sync to a Brevo field with attribute type Category

When you create a custom field with type "Category" in Brevo, you have to use IDs as values.

If Brevo shows this categories' configuration:


Then you should create the Wisepops field like this:

My Brevo's API key is not accepted by Wisepops

If you have enabled Brevo's authorized IP addresses in security settings, you'll need to add Wisepops IP to authorize Wisepops.

  1. Authorize the IP 34.68.181.17

  2. Subscribe to this mailing list to get notified in case of Wisepops IP change
