Sync your leads with Intercom

Thanks to the Wisepops & Intercom integration, you can synchronize the leads collected by Wisepops as Intercom leads. You are also able to start new conversations directly from your Wisepops campaigns.

Connect your Intercom account

  1. Log in to your Wisepops account.

  2. Open or create a popup with a sign-up form.

  3. Open your sign-up form.

  4. In the left menu, click "Sync".

  5. Select the Intercom icon.

  6. If you are not logged in to Intercom already, log in to your account using the tab that opened.

  7. From the dropdown, select the Intercom workspace you want to connect to Wisepops.

  8. Click "Authorize access" to allow Wisepops to access your Intercom account.

You're done! :)

How fields are mapped

The following fields are mapped automatically to Intercom attributes:

  • Email

  • Phone

  • First name

  • Last name

You can set the mappings of fields in the Wisepops builder. The custom user attributes you create in Intercom are available in the "Merge with" dropdown.

Start a new conversation

To start a new conversation from a popup, you can:

  1. Add a multi-line text,

  2. Set its merge field to "Start a new conversation with this message".

When submitted, Wisepops starts a new conversation, with the collected email as the author.
