If you want to target a particular source of traffic, let's say your newsletter subscribers, you're on the right page. Read on for targeting examples and steps.

Target a Google Analytics UTM campaign

Let's say you want to target your monthly newsletter subscribers.

You tracked your newsletter with the following UTM parameters: https://wisepops.com/?utm_source=monthly-newsletter&utm_campaign=Summer-Campaign&utm_medium=email.

Open your popup and click Display in the left menu and then select Audience from the top menu.

Under the header Traffic select UTM, as shown below.

In the Source open text field paste your UTM source.

You can add additional UTM parameters to be more specific.

Target any kind of URL parameter

What if you're not using Google Analytics?

You can add any parameters to your newsletter links and target them. Using the same example: I'll add the following parameter to my links https://wisepops.com/?ref=Summer-Newsletter.

Once that's done, click Display rules in the left-hand menu of the builder, then select Pages from the top menu.

Click Select URLs and Specify where to display.

Create a URL contains rule and paste your parameter.

You're done!
