Slack Integration Guide

Written by Rafael Gonzales

Stay on top of every new lead and survey response by connecting Wisepops to your Slack workspace. With the Slack integration, you'll receive a notification in the channel of your choice every time a visitor submits a sign-up form, phone field, or survey response on one of your campaigns. No more switching between tabs to monitor incoming leads. You and your team can react to important requests in real-time, right from where you already work.

This is particularly useful for:

  • Sales teams who want to follow up with high-intent leads within minutes

  • Customer support teams monitoring contact form submissions

  • Marketing teams tracking survey responses or campaign engagement

  • Any team that wants visibility on conversions without logging into Wisepops

Enable the Slack integration on a campaign

  1. Open the campaign you want to connect to Slack, or create a new one from your dashboard.

  2. In the campaign editor, click on the form block (sign-up, phone, or survey block) you'd like to set up notifications for.

3. In the left-hand panel, open the Sync tab.

4. Click Add integration and select Slack from the list of available integrations.

5. You'll be prompted to authorize Wisepops to access your Slack workspace. Click Allow to continue.

6. Once connected, choose the Slack channel where you'd like notifications to be sent. You can pick any public channel, or a private channel that the Wisepops app has been added to.

7. Save your changes and publish your campaign.

That's it! The next time a visitor submits the form, your team will receive a notification in the selected Slack channel with all the collected data.

Current limitation

At the moment, you can only activate one integration per campaign. This means if you already have an Email integration (such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Brevo) set up on a campaign, you'll need to choose between that and Slack for now.

We're unlocking dual integrations in June, so you'll soon be able to send leads to both Slack and your ESP from the same campaign. Stay tuned!

A few best practices

  • Create a dedicated channel (e.g. #wisepops-leads) so notifications don't get buried in busy team channels.

  • Make sure the Wisepops app has been added to any private channels you want notifications sent to.

  • If you're running multiple campaigns, consider using separate channels per campaign type (one for sales leads, one for support requests, one for survey responses, etc.) to keep things organized.

  • Test the integration by submitting your own form once it's live, to confirm the notification arrives as expected.

Troubleshooting

You're not receiving notifications in Slack?

  • Confirm the campaign is published and active.

  • Check that the Slack integration is properly saved on the form block (not just added but not saved).

  • For private channels, make sure the Wisepops app has been invited to that channel.

  • If you have an Email integration already active on the same campaign, the Slack integration won't fire (see "Current limitation" above).
