Sync your leads with Customer.io

Thanks to the Wisepops & Customer.io integration, you can synchronize the leads collected by Wisepops as Customer.io people.

Connect your Customer.io account

Follow these steps to connect your account:

  1. Log in to your Customer.io account.

  2. From the upper right corner, go to Account settings > API credentials.

  3. There are two tabs: Tracking API keys and App API keys. You need to create both for Wisepops. Let's start with the first one, the Tracking API key.

    1. Click Create Track API Key,

    2. Enter the name Wisepops,

    3. Choose the appropriate workspace,

    4. Confirm the creation of the API key.

  4. Now, let's create the 2nd API key. Click the tab App API key, and provide the required information:

    1. Click Create App API Key,

    2. Enter the name Wisepops,

    3. Choose the appropriate workspace,

    4. Confirm the creation of the API key.

      Make sure to keep this window open. As opposed to the Track API key, you won't be able to see the App API key later.

  5. Optionally, you can restrict the IPs allowed to use your App API keys. In this case, add the Wisepops IP in your IP address allowlist: 34.68.181.17
    Make sure to subscribe to this list to get notified if Wisepops needs to add new IPs.

  6. Log in to your Wisepops account.

  7. Open or create a campaign with a sign-up form.

  8. Click your sign-up form.

  9. In the left menu, click Sync.

  10. Click the Customer.io logo.

  11. In the new window, provide your Customer.io credentials:

    1. From the Tracking API, enter your Site ID, and Tracking API Key.

    2. From the App API, enter your App API Key.

    3. Uncheck "Use email as identifier" if your Customer.io workspace is not compatible with email identification.

    4. Click Submit.
