When you integrate with dotdigital, you might come across the following error if your API limit is being capped.

Error message

400 - ("message":"your account has generated excess API activity and is being temporarily capped. Please contact support. ERROR_APIUSAGE_EXCEEDED."}

Reason for error

We usually send a limited number of API calls to dotdigital, but if you're using other apps, you can easily reach your limits.

Solution

Contact your dotdigital's account manager and ask to increase your API limits.
